He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Steve Phifer (Robbie) of Elkton, TN and Dawn Luttrell (Jerry) of Lewisburg, TN; his grandchildren, Logan Phifer of Elkton, TN, Kayla Phifer-Smith (Brody) of Ardmore, AL, Dustin Luttrell (Lindsay Fletcher) of Murfreesboro, TN and Hollie Luttrell of Lewisburg, TN.; and his siblings, Bill Phifer (Fay), Jack Phifer, Sue Harwell of Lewisburg, TN, Dot Parsons of Lewisburg, TN and Linda Shaddy (Doug) of Belfast, TN..

The family encourages masks to be worn at visitation and the funeral and to practice social distancing.
