He is survived by: his wife Valerie Slayton; his children, Sandy Slayton-Mavrotheris (Micah), Jeffery Slayton (Melanie) of Elkton, Tennessee. and Greg Slayton (Jenny) of Elkton, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Sarah Slayton of Centerville, Hub Slayton of Huntsville, Joshua Slayton of Spring Hill and Nick Mavrotheris of Elkton, Tennessee.; his stepgranddaughter Crysta Nilsson of Memphis Tennessee; and his sisters, Angeline Mathis (Jere) of Fayetteville and Debi Erwin of Georgia. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and dear cousins.
