He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wagner Hutchins and Eva Ruth Hutchins (Milhorn); and his sister Brenda Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Fox Hutchins; his children, John Hutchins (Pam) of Elizabethton and Melanie Honeycutt (Mark) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Joshua Hutchins (Lindsey), Taylor Miller (Zack), Jacob Davis (Madison Combs) and Michael Hutchins (Maddie); his great grandchildren, Adriana Hutchins, Veda Blackburn, Maverick Hutchins, Sully Miller, Riley Miller and Hallie Hutchins; his brother Farrell Hutchins of Elizabethton; his nieces and nephews, Dianne Hyatt, Donna Dumas, Jeannie Barker, Connie Shephard, Tammy Buchanan, Karen Barnett, Charles Hutchins, Jeff Hutchins and Mark Blevins; and his close friends, Bill, Lois Schaff, Mark Schaff, Sam, Jeanette Bradshaw and Bucky Harris.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
