She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Tinkle and Bertha Tinkle; her husband Lloyd William Presnell; her siblings, Eula Tester, Sue Cornett and Edwin Tinkle; her daughter Misty Dawn Presnell; and her stepson Jack Presnell.

She is survived by: her daughter Kristi Henley (Jonathan) of Elizabethton; her stepdaughter Carolyn Bowman (Jimmy) of Johnson City; and her stepgranddaughters, Angie and Kimberly. She is also survived by several step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home (101 E F St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 14th 2024 at 2:15 PM and at 3:00 PM. A reception was held on Sunday, July 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
