He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lemuel Morrell Sr. and Beatrice Morrell; and his sister Theresa Payton. He is survived by: his wife Paula D. Morrell of Chattanooga, TN; his nephew Chris Vines; and his nieces, Samantha Burt and Allison Iglehart.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the 12 Springs Community Church (5236 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Springs Community Church (5236 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC 29072). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
