Darty Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darty Johnson of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Abraham Johnson and Betty Jo Benfield Buchanan; and his brother Trent Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Mitchell Johnson; his daughter Brandi Erwin (Dennis) of Elizabethton; his grandsons, Jared Erwin (Courtney) of Elizabethton and Wesley Erwin of Elizabethton; his great grandchild Lennyn Erwin; and his sisters, Gail English of Newland, Karen Buchanan of Newland and Renee Buchanan of Newland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section).
