She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Spears and Maudette Davis Spears; and her siblings, Ken Spears, Eugene Spears (Mike), Doris Bare, Faye Taylor, Patricia Clyburn and Eula Jones.

She is survived by: her husband Joel Glenn Pierce; her children, Cynthia Pierce Torbett and Phillip Joel Pierce; her daughter-in-law Lisa Pierce; her grandchildren, Anna Caroline Torbett, William Richard Torbett, Blake Nicole Pierce and Drew Phillip Pierce; her great grandchildren, Skyla Lorraine Torbett, Thomas William Torbett and Joshua Charles Torbett; and her sister Linda Landers.
