With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bonnie L. Montgomery of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose life came to an end on March 7, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dugger and Bertie Andrews Honeycutt; her husband John A. Montgomery; and her siblings, Beulah Burchette, Eva Honeycutt, Vallie "Bug" Richardson, Charlene Miller and William Dee Dugger.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Ann Price (Billy) of Elizabethton and Terry "Mudd" Montgomery (Sheila Baird) of Elizabethton; her siblings, Martha Hardin of Elizabethton and Lewis Honeycutt (Charlotte) of Hampton; her granddaughters, Aleta Morgan (Scott) of Roan Mountain and Terri Lynn Montgomery of Elizabethton; her great grandchildren, Collin Morgan, Eli Morgan, Kaylin Morgan and Brittany Berry; her great great grandchild Harper Berry; and her family, Tootsie, David Gregory, Gladys Richardson, Pam Gregory, Jessica, Chris Barnes, Peyton Barnes, Owen, Levi Gibbs, Nolan Fogle, Alyssa, Jarrett Fogle, Jim, Gina Gregory, Dylan Gregory, Miranda, Anthony Graham, Kelly Richardson-Suttles, Dakota, Erich Hangartner, Elin and Quinny Hangartner.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Chapel of Hathaway Percy Funeral Home (101 E F St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 12:15 PM and at 1:00 PM.
