We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, Billy Sams of Elizabethton, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd W. Sams and Beatrice Williams Sams; and his sister Kay Sams Sullivan of Maryland. He is survived by: his daughter Angelia Kay Sams; his grandson Shane Williams; his nephew Floyd "Butch" Sullivan (Carrie Sullivan); his children, Amanda, Dustin and Kelly; his niece Elise Van Derloo; and his close friend Mary Corral of Elizabethton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:45 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
