It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida P. Rimer of Eidson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Kloyis Rimer; her parents, Edgar Johnson and Arkie Johnson; and her siblings, Nora Stewart, Gaynell Seal, Lena Johnson, Billie Jean Johnson and Gale Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Kinsler and Richard Rimer (Jan); her grandchildren, Brad Smith of Eidson, Brandy Bloomer of Eidson, Brandon Kinsler (Autumn) of Eidson and Nathiel Rimer of Eidson; her great grandchildren, Hunter, Caleb, Miracle, Rhealynn, Xavier Smith and Peyton Kinsler; her niece Karen Wallen; and her nephew Scott Seal. She is also survived by 9 Step-Children.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McNeil Funeral Home (124 Church St, Sneedville, TN 37869). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rimer Cemetery.
