He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Card and Kate Card; his son Thomas Paul Card, Jr.; his brothers, Danny, Larry and James Card; and his parents-in-law, John and Margaret Perry.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Perry Card; his son John "Skip" Card; his grandchildren, Chase Card (Shayne Holley) and Tinley Card; and his brother Joe Card (Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
