Sally E. Atkins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally E. Atkins of East Ridge, Tennessee, born in Sherwood, Tennessee, who passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Champion and Etta Mae Champion; and her husband Orman Reed Atkins (Master Sergeant). She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Pond; her grandsons, Reed "Skip" Pond (Jennifer) and Joshua Pond; her great grandchildren, Teresa "Reese" Pond and Elizabeth "Ellie" Pond; her son-in-law Jerry Pond (Carol); and her caregivers, Beverly Payne, Autumn Hubbs and Melisa Lambright. She is also survived by her mom, dad, siblings, daughter, grandkids, great grandkids, neighbors and friends.
