She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Lloyd Gant, Jr.; and her sister Peggy Boggess. She is survived by: her daughter Kandy Gilstrap (Robb); her grandchildren, Haynie Jane Gilstrap and Harrison Gant Gilstrap; and her sister Cobia Edgemon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
