He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur E. Taylor (Os) and Estelle Hulsey Taylor; and his son Jeff Taylor of Knoxville, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Emberson Taylor; his daughter Amy Taylor of Ringgold, GA; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Taylor; his grandchildren, Erika Taylor of Knoxville, TN, James Gaither of Chattanooga, TN and Megan Gaither Glisson (Andy); his great grandchildren, Lilly and Sam Glisson of Ringgold, GA; and his cousin Joyce Hollingsead of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (404 S Moore Rd, East Ridge, TN 37412). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Newnan Springs United Methodist Church (78 Monanaw Ave, Rossville, GA 30741).
