She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Leola Medley Rector; her son Michael "Mike" Whaley; and her siblings, Barbara Walker and Harold Rector. She is survived by: her husband Charles Whaley; her children, Sandy Whaley, Terry Whaley (Connie) and Pam Cox (Mike); her grandchildren, Christopher Whitaker, Shane Whaley, Candra Thompson, Jamie Gaines, Jessica Walker and Hannah Velasquez; and her sister Virginia Cooper. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
