It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Kenneth Dedmon of East Ridge, Tennessee, born in Ringgold, Georgia, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Dedmon and Irene Dedmon; and his brothers, Eugene Dedmon and Junior Dedmon. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Pennington (Mike) and Kenny Dedmon (Darlene); his grandchildren, Audrey Pennington, Heather Dedmon, Ryan Dedmon (Miranda), Matt Dedmon (Ashley) and Michelle Pennington; his close friend Fran "Billie" Phifer; and his caregiver Barbara of Hearth Hospice. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Marvin's memory may be made to the American Legion William Blair Post 95, PO Box 9093, East Ridge, TN 37412.
