She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Garner; her parents, Jack Summers and Stella Summers; her sisters, Louise Foster and Doris Marie Summers; and her grandson Joshua Smallen.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Garner and Donny Garner (Kathy); her grandchildren, Brandi Garner Locke (Jeff), Tyler Garner and Bailey Cobb (Zack); her great grandchildren, Christian Smallen, Morgan Smallen, Braxton Locke and Britton Locke; her brothers, Johnny Summers (Vickey) and Jackie Summers (Jean); and her close friends, Betty Jo, Janelle Thompson, Dot Roberts, Jean Peeler, Jeannette Bradley, Flora Gordon and Smokey Coleman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
