He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Isaac and Marietta Newberry Hobbs; and his sisters, Carolyn Sloop, Dorothy Swanson and Kathy Swanson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn Carruth (Mack) and Clayton Hobbs; his niece Pam Adams (Richard); his nephew Jeff Carruth; and his great-nieces, Amy Boyland and Tiffany Bailey. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
