He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Orva Robinson (Hawkins), Stuart and Geraldine Van Liew (Larson); and his father Gerald Van Liew.
He is survived by: his mother Sharon Van Liew (Robinson); his brother Kyle Van Liew; his daughter Lynae Rogers; his wife Sandra Van Liew-Rogers; his son Nicholas Rogers (Samantha); and his grandson Dustin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of donations to the East Ridge Tennessee Police Department.
