Though Karla Joy may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronnie Mines and Evelyn "Luba" Edwards; her stepfather Eddie Edwards; and her grandmother Evelyn Thacker. She is survived by: her husband Greg Whitmire; her children, Sarah Whitmire and Blake Whitmire; her grandchild Ivory Whitmire; and her sisters, Lillie Boyd (Donny), Patricke Luzier (Mark) and Aundria Hume (Shane). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the One Accord Community Church (343 Sweetland Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
