It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Louise Shumaker of East Ridge, Tennessee, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Shumaker; her brothers, Huey Shumaker, J. C. Shumaker and Mike Hill; and her sister-in-law Olga Hill.
She is survived by: her uncle William Hughes (Bill); her aunts, Peggy Hays and Ann Webster; her nephews, Michael Hill and Eric Hill; her sister-in-law Cindy Shumaker; her cousins, Rhonda Wood and Meredith Benincasa; and her pet Piper. She is also survived by 1 great nephew and 3 great nieces.
During the pandemic she sewed and donated more than 1, 000 face masks to essential workers and the elderly.
