Betty left this world on May 16, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband John Ralph Daugherty; her great grandchild Vin Sedman; her parents, R. J. Head and Jessie Head; and her siblings, Thomas Head and Jadena Myatt.

She is survived by: her children, John Daugherty (Lynda), David Daugherty (Tammy), Raymond Daugherty (Teresa) and Belinda Sedman (Vincent); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Head and Dorothy Daugherty. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
