He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Combs and Fannie Combs (Hensley); and his siblings, Warren Combs, Hargis Combs, Amos Combs, Mary Nell Combs and Lucinda Gross.
He is survived by: his close friend Doris Ann Allemand of Tennessee; his daughters, Reeda C Thorpe (Jesse) of Jackson, Paige Cole (Deon) of Tennessee and Brandy Allemand (John) of Alabama; and his siblings, Iva Fraley of Jackson, Barbara McIntosh (Olie) of Haddix, Kentucky, Lewis Gene Combs of Saldee, Willie Combs (Martha) of Tennessee and John Combs (Joyce) of Saldee. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
