She is survived by: her children, Charles, James Albert Smotherman, Martha Kay Plunkett of Murfreesboro, TN, Vernon Lee Smotherman of Smyrna, TN, John Irvin Smotherman of Murfreesboro, TN, Edwin Ray Smotherman of Eagleville, TN and Rickey Leland Smotherman of Murfreesboro, TN; and her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Davenport of Chapel Hill, TN, Evelyn Ruth Plunkett and Frances Chaffin of Eagleville, TN. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
