It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Sims in Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 11, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Sims and Wilma Hilliard Sims. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bevill Sims; his children, Tonya Sims Sartin (Blake) of Maryville, TN and Eddie Sims (Amy) of Dyersburg; his siblings, Debbie Darter (Johnny) and Ronnie Sims (Connie); and his grandchildren, Tucker Sims, Weston Sims, Henley Sartin, Lander Sartin and Paisley Sartin.
It is requested that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the ministries of Lenox Baptist Church.
