He was predeceased by: his father Burt Watson; and his sister Teresa Hickman. He is survived by: his mother Mary Sue Wheeler of Dyersburg; his wife Mamye Pursell Watson; his son Shane Watson (Jackie) of Dyersburg; his grandchildren, Ashton Watson of Dyersburg and William Watson of Dyersburg; and his brother Bubba Wheeler of Newbern.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (1984 St John Ave, Dyersburg, TN 38024).
