She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Jones Rector and Horace Harvey; her husband James "Jim" McDonald Edwards; and her stepfather Delmar Lee Rector. She is survived by: her children, Carol Edwards of Dyersburg and Joseph M. Edwards of Memphis; her grandchildren, Emily Bobbitt (Drew) of Alpharetta and Alex Jones (Jenny) of Denver, Colorado; her great grandchild Olivia Bobbitt; and her pet Hoskin Edwards.
