She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Owens and Lucille Branscum Dunigan; her husband Andy Nelson; and her sisters, Mary Tate, Janette Sawyers, Janice Stanfield and Betty Kimberling.
She is survived by: her son William Mathina (Suzi) of Dyersburg, TN; her siblings, David Dunigan of Dyersburg, TN, Junior Dunigan of Dyersburg, TN, Letha Martin of Louisiana and Margaret Gwaltney of Halls, TN; her grandchildren, Stephanie Mathina, Zach Mathina, Jadon Mathina and Ben Mathina; and her great grandchildren, Trey Turnbo, Sophia Turnbo and McKenzie Turnbo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
