He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joe Malone and Helen Imogene Robertson Abernethy; and his brother Mickey Malone. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Malone (Darla) of Hattiesburg and Sam Malone (Shelby) of Canton, Michigan; his sister Carol Gowan (Mike) of Hayti; and his grandchildren, Eliza Malone, George Malone, Sydney Malone and Sadie Jo Malone.
