It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Renee Smith of Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Hoyt Snider and Dorcas Louise Noel Snider; and her daughter Lacey Renee Waddell. She is survived by: her husband James F. "Smitty" Smith, Jr. of Dyersburg, Tennessee; her children, Chucky Waddell (Kim) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Nickie Waddell Hilliard of Dyersburg, Tennessee; her stepdaughters, Christina Waddell of Jackson, Melissa Wadell of Florida, Kaela Woodard (Jimmy), Brittany Copeland (Sharon), Amanda Reed and Samantha Gourley; her sisters, Deanna Mooney (Terry) of Trimble and Cindy Jackson (Fred) of Halls; and her grandchildren, James Rogers, Jacey Rogers, Mark Hayes, Camden Davis and Conner Waddell.
