It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Opal Kay Armstrong of Dyersburg, Tennessee, born in Maury City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scroggins and Opal Scroggins; her daughter Cindy Sipes; and her sisters, Betty Lumley and Joyce Spann.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Armstrong; her children, Timothy Smith, Roxanna Goodman, Gina Pitt and Tammy Poe (Angel Larson); and her brother James Scroggins. She is also survived by "Mamaw" by her 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
