She is survived by: her husband Gene Carter; her sister Shelia Groshart (Ken) of Germantown, TN.; her children, Scott Carter (Annaree) of Newbern, TN, Tina England (Barry) of Columbia, TN and Kent Carter (Vicky) of Jackson, TN.; and her grandchildren, Scott Carter (Mandy) of Arlington, TN, Wes Carter (Lacey) of Newbern, TN, Whitney Young (Travis) of Jackson, TN, Carter England (Allison) of Huntsville, AL, Haley Mantlo (Will) of Nashville, TN, Shelley Vaughn (Ben) of Jenison, MI and Zac Carter (Caurie) of Collierville, TN. She is also survived by twelve great- grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the McIver's Grant Public Library of Dyersburg, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
