She was predeceased by: her husband Otha B. Mallard; her son Marty B. Mallard; her brother David Rose; and her grandson Michael Tyler Mallard. She is survived by: her children, Mike Mallard (Dianne) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Rita Fletcher (Colin) of LaVergne, Tennessee; her brother Charles Rose (Shelia) of Newbern, Tennessee; her sister-in-law Becky Rose of Covington; and her grandchildren, Zach Fletcher (Misty), Lindsay Luttrell (Dustin), Allye Mallard (Luke) and Mitch Mallard. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
