With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joann Lewis (Dyersburg, Tennessee), who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Miller and Dr. J. Paul Baird; her husband Dr. Kenneth S. Lewis, Jr.; and her grandsons, Russell Barton and Robert Barton.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Melissa Barton (Steve), Merrill Lemon (Danny) of Dyersburg, Kenneth S. "Bud" Lewis of Jackson and Paul Baird Lewis (Helena); her grandchildren, Shelley Lemon Payne (David), Alicia Lemon Hopgood (Bradley), Jenna Lemon Simmons (Tanner), Erik Lewis (Hannah) and Amy Clare Lewis; her sister Barbara Baird Mullins; and her caregivers, Tina Akines, Espirta Cooper, Bernice Ferguson, Sheila Fisk, Cindy Halliburton, Angela Harris, Alecia Ivie, Fannie Jones and Connie Ivie Tatum.
