He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Overton Pitts of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his son Jon Dillon Wheeler of Dyersburg; his stepmother Mary Sue Wheeler of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his siblings, Bubba Wheeler (Kim) of Newbern, Steve Watson (Mamye) of Fowlkes, Tennessee and Rita Walker (Jeff) of Dyersburg; and his grandchildren, Rainie Wheeler, Kaisley Haynes and Addisyn Haynes.
