He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Horner and Virginia Sue Frost Horner; and his siblings, Dee Peery Horner, Ray Horner, Jean Anthony, Betty Willard and Ann Burroughs.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Horner of Dyersburg, TN; his sons, Ricky Horner of Murfreesboro, TN and Larry Horner of Memphis, TN; his brother Robert Horner (Elizabeth) of Dyersburg, TN; and his grandchildren, Laura Leigh Horner and Lee Anna Horner.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dyersburg Funeral Home (420 US-51, Dyersburg, TN 38024). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or to the Transition of Dyer County.
