He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henderson Rice and Lucille Brown Rice Dalton; his stepfather Gordon Dalton; his grandparents, J. E. and Brown; his uncle Gus; his aunt Mary Brown Wisbar; and his son-in-law Wayne "Moose" Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Neal Rice of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his children, Roger Allen Rice of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Susan Moore (Faith Wigdor) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kristen Rice Henderson (Ryan) and Hunter Allen Rice; and his niece Kimberly Paige Neal.
