He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Emmet, Jr. and Margaret Kathryn Nunemaker Swick. He is survived by: his wife Paula Heckethorn Swick; his children, David Edward Swick, Jr. (Shelbie) of Nashville and Cara Swick of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Madeline Swick, Caroland Baldree, Jacob Baldree and Michael Baldree. He is also survived by three sisters.
