He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Staggs and Mary Lee Brown Staggs; and his siblings, Billy Staggs, Obie Staggs, Jr. and Iva Mae Staggs.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Faye Bizzle Staggs of Halls, Tennessee; his sons, Roger Staggs (Rebekah) of Ripley and Charles Springer Staggs, Jr. of Colorado; his stepsons, Chuck Farley of Dyersburg and Timothy Farley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his daughters, Pamela Sallee of Dresden and Vonda Mathenia (Ricky) of Finger; and his brothers, Roy Staggs (Wanda Gail) of Leoma, Clyde Staggs of Sidonia, Paul Staggs (Rhonda) of Amity, Jimmy Staggs of Paragould and Robert Wesley Staggs of Dresden. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sorrell Chapel Cemetery.
