He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Willis Richards and Lois Virginia Stanfield Richards; and his brother Willis Eugene Richards. He is survived by: his son Bro. David Richards (Cristy) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his siblings, Jerry Wayne Richards of Dyersburg, Marty Lynn Richards (Kristy) of Newbern, Tennessee and Pat Sollis (Jerry) of Dyersburg; and his grandchildren, Katie Richards and Jon David Richards.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.
