It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Ellis Scarborough of Dyersburg, Tennessee, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Scarborough and Ava E. Thompson Scarbrough; his daughter Shellie Sipes; and his siblings, Charles Scarbrough, Ronald Scarbrough and Rachel Cobb.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Clark Scarbrough of Dyersburg, Tennessee; his sons, Larry Clark of Dyersburg, Chris Noel of Mississippi, Mark Noel (Connie) of Mississippi and Lynn Noel of Mississippi; his siblings, Joe Scarborough (Martha) of Humboldt, Tennessee, Marilyn Clifton of Dyersburg and Carolyn LaRoe (Dan) of Palestine, Texas; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Scarborough of Three Way and Jessica Scarborough of Fort Worth. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Johnson-Williams Funeral Home (239 E Main St, Newbern, TN 38059).
