She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vernon Joslin and Gurtha Mae Pratt Joslin; her husband Clarence Meeks; her children, James Robert Hawks, Donna Jean Eaves and Darlene Crenshaw; and her siblings, Mackie Joslin, Fentress "Primp" Joslin, Jesse Joslin, Cysler "Cat" Joslin, Everett Joslin, Patsy Connell and Frances Stephens.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Hawks (Charlotte) of Dyersburg and Vickie Crabtree (Tony) of Latham; her sisters, Marcella Mallard of Flint and Monette Joslin of Dyersburg; and her grandchildren, Christopher Lee Hawks, Gregory Deshawn Hawks, Kalie Paige Hawks, Michael Ogden, Tyler Eaves, Scotty Stutts, Shawna Bishop, Felica Crenshaw, Brandon Reynolds, Christy Long and Jonathon Reynolds. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
