He was predeceased by: his parents, James Floyd and Edith Davidson Moore; his wife Susie Moore; his son Richard Alvin Moore; his grandson Gregory Andrew Morris; his great grandchild Jaxon Layne Morris; and his siblings, Charlotte Christine Moore, James Edgar Moore, Billy Freeman Moore and Thomas Franklin Moore.
He is survived by: his daughter Pattye Moore Kelley (Matt) of Dyersburg; his grandsons, John Dustin Morris of Dyersburg, Joshua Moore Morris (Kristen) of Dyersburg and Joseph Adam Morris (Savannah) of Finley; and his great grandchildren, Camren Devlin, Hannah Morris, John David Morris, Ty Andrew Moore Morris, Lennon Morris and Ann Caroline Morris.
