He is survived by: his children, Courtney Broome, Cory Layne and Abbie Layne; his siblings, Jerry Layne, Billy Bob Layne (Jean), Donna Bone (Dale), David Layne (Helen), Debra Rogers (Ronnie), MariAnna Davis (Jessie), Fayetta Grayson (Glen) and Dude Layne (Brenda); and his grandchildren, Aden, Beau, Hank and Luke Broome. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
