She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Simmons and Mary Lee Woody Bolding; her husband Riley Ray Brock, Sr.; and her niece Lexi Moore. She is survived by: her daughter Saralee Gibbs (Creed Michael); her stepchildren, Laura J. Brock and Riley Ray Brock, Jr.; her sisters, Pam White (Steve), Crystal Moore (Tony) and Anna Simmons; and her grandchildren, Christopher Lee Lack and Jazmine Lee Layne.
