Nelson and Dawn Elliott (Roger); his stepdaughter Christine Porter; his siblings, Bill Nelson, Randy Nelson (Cheryl), Debbie Fiaschetti (Keith) and Sandy Nelson; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob Elliott and Brenden Porter; and his nieces and nephews, Nicole McBay, Tyler Sentementes, Brandon Nelson, Jenny Pratt, Kyle Fiaschetti, Cheryl Ledford and Cindy Reeves.
