He is survived by: his sons, Mike Sims (Rachael) and Jeff Sims (Laura); his grandchildren, Matthew Sims (Phuong), Jeffery Sims, Geary Dayne Meeks (Maria) and Harley Meeks; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Sophie Sims and Wyatt Meeks; and his brother Donnie Sims (Connie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
