He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Smith Sims and Louise Land Sims; and his sister-in-law Gail Denney. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his daughter Randi Strader (Casey); his brother Lloyd Sims (Linda); his mother-in-law Alice Holland; his grandchildren, Madison and Jakob; his siblings-in-law, Ray Payne (Deborah), Terry Denney, Sue Trujillo and Diane Ables; and his friend Bella Louise.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Sequatchie Co. Cancer Support Network or Bledsoe Co. Cancer Care Team.
