He is survived by: his wife Velma Skiles Hobbs; his children, William Levan "Van" Hobbs and Carol Janette "Jan" Brown (Ray); his siblings, Alma Ruth Johnson, Connie Krider (Mike), Tina Newman (Jimmy), Johnny Hobbs (Ann) and Grady Bryan Hobbs (Phyllis); and his grandchildren, Tristen, Skylar, Lillie Hobbs, Noah, Courtney and Nathan Brown.
