She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melson and Mary Josiephine Swafford Beckham; and her brother James Melson Beckham, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth W; her children, David Nix (Cindy), Aaron Nix (Shonda) and Amy Layne (Gerald); her brother John Beckham (Pat); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Harrison, Olivia, Emalee, Jack Nix, Mason and Charlee Layne. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to the Sequatchie County Public Library.
